Marv Recinto is Managing Editor of the magazines ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, as well as the academic journal ARTMargins (MIT Press). Based in London, she specialises in contemporary art of the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Raised in Manila, Singapore and San Francisco, Marv studied Art History and Anthropology in New York, and earned her MA in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. She is the editor BAAMMXXI (Manila: Vibal Publishing House & Green Papaya Art Projects, 2022), Pio Abad: Fear of Freedom Makes Us See Ghosts (London: Hato Press; Manila: Ateneo University Gallery, 2024) and Norberto Roldan (forthcoming). She is a founding signatory of the Transnational Coalition for the Arts, has moderated and given talks at various institutions including the Serpentine Gallery and the Photographer’s Gallery. Marv is a member of the International Art Critics Association.
